ELITE 3V3 HOOPS – RULES & GAMEPLAY 🏀

GENERAL RULES

  1. All players must be fully paid to be listed on a roster.

  2. Multiple rosters require multiple registrations.

  3. All players must have a signed waiver on file before playing.

  4. Respect the game — no foul, abusive, derogatory, or hate speech.

  5. Keep it competitive, clean, and fun — no fighting or disruptive behavior.

  6. Referee decisions are final.

  7. No alcohol, drugs, roster cheating, unregistered players, or unsportsmanlike conduct.

DISCIPLINE POLICY

League Directors reserve the right to review all incidents.

⚠️ 1st Offense: Official Warning
🚫 2nd Offense: 2-game player suspension + possible team forfeit
⛔ No 3rd Warning: Automatic 1-year suspension from all Elite events & activities

Automatic Suspensions for:

  • Fighting

  • Alcohol / drug use

  • Hate speech

  • Excessive foul / abusive language

  • Roster cheating

  • Unregistered players

  • Unsportsmanlike / disruptive behavior

TEAM FORMATION

  1. Each team must have 1 Captain and may have up to 2 Co-Captains

  2. 4 players minimum per roster

  3. 5 players maximum per roster

  4. 2 players minimum required to avoid forfeit

  5. Rosters lock after Game 2 — no changes permitted

GAMEPLAY FORMAT

⏱ Two 12-minute halves
🏃 Continuous running clock
🛑 2 timeouts per half (45 seconds each)
⏸ Halftime: 2 minutes

Overtime Rules

  • 1st OT: 5-minute period

  • 2nd OT: Sudden Death (first score wins)

SCORES / STATS / LEADERBOARDS

📈 League stats updated every Wednesday by midnight

UNIFORM RULES

  1. League-issued uniforms required — no uniform = no game

  2. Black or grey shorts only

  3. No offensive or inappropriate clothing

  4. Team uniforms must match or be very similar in color

  5. Jerseys must display a minimum 6-inch number on the back

  6. Proper basketball shoes required for participation
